Help! I have all the pices cut and ready for an Ottobre kids top which I copied from a friend's mag ages back. I have lost the sewing instructions and her extensive sewing pattern collection is in storage currently.
It's a simple, pull over the head, flat cotton weave top with pintucks at front and back neckline and it's lined. I have done the pintucks and all my pieces are cut and prepped including the facing pieces.
I am ready to put it together but I have never added lining before and don't know how to add those pieces. I can probably put it together myself with no instructions without dealing with the lining. But seeing as I've cut the lining it would be shame not to add it in. Can anyone advise?
I've had a look through the Ottobre site and I think it might be the top on page seventeen of this edition (you can click on the page when you go to the link):

Do you have the pattern (from this issue) for the little kokeshi doll dress? The construction is the same but the lining is not gathered. The elastic for the neckline edge of the sleeves is 13/13/14/14/15/15 cms.

Thanks Miss Chris, I only photocopied the pages I needed and they are awol so I don't have anything . . . The elastic measure helps though thanks. I know how to put the thing together except for the lining. Do I just sandwich the lining in between the facings somehow?
Actually now that you mentioned elastic on the neckline I think I need to find the correct instructions for that part too! LOL
