Seriously, I just wanted to share the love as my BF is tired of my raving to him (poor dear). I ADORE my "new" machine. It's the TOL in my collection of machines, and I'd never played with the sewing features on it prior to yesterday, although I had done a LITTLE embroidery with it. I have a PE 770, so I was LESS intimidated by the embroidery than by the unholy selection of beautiful stitches.
I am IN LOVE. I just hemmed a pair of jeans on it, and such beautiful stitching! I ran it at the slowest possible speed with a new jeans needle, and it was AWESOME. I'm even getting into the push button sewing (yes, I have another machine with this feature, but I am so used to my foot control I never used it.) I have to admit, it's convenient. (although I still love my foot controls, so we'll see if I ever fully convert.)
I am so amazed by this machine, I may downsize a few of my Vintage machines, as this one is so versatile I am feeling less of a need for 3-4 back up machines. (And, I could put the proceeds of said downsizing towards MY Dream Machine,right? LOL)
Anyway, just wanted to overshare! LOVE!

I had this model and used it for embroidery.
So glad you have a good machine to use.
It's very easy to operate and position for ME.

I'm glad you found a machine that you love so much! I love the enthusiasm, and this is the perfect place to share the joy! That looks like a very cool and capable machine, congrats!

I understand about talking about machines to people who aren't into sewing... when I talk about my babies, my best friend's eyes just glaze over.... he doesn't understand the terminology or the love, but he is glad as a friend that I have something I'm so passionate about. I try to be conscious about it and not go on and on, but I could talk about sewing machines all day, every day! That's why we have each other here :o)

My machines listed in the order I got them:

Vintage metal Brother straight stitcher (purchased 2008); Bernina Artista 200 (purchased 2013), Vintage hand crank Singer 128 clone with LaVincendora decals (purchased 2014);
Vintage Baby Lock BL3-408 serger (gifted to me in 2015);
Brother NQ3500D (puchased in 2015) Viking Designer SE (purchased in 2016); Viking Sapphire 965Q (purchased in 2018... worst machine ever made... I'll pay someone to take it!) JUKI NX7 (purchased 2019)

The list keeps growing... they are multiplying like bunny rabbits... make it stop, make it stop! :)

I love this post!! I can't sleep at 4 in the morning and I had to check my PR digest first thing. I saw there were no sewing machine reviews and I'm always so disappointed, so I concur. I have a completely bat crazy love of sewing machines. I'll devoutly follow any description, a 30 year old machine's tension problems or a brand new, $13K Bernina not pivoting properly. I'm getting more interested in the vintage old souls, too, probably because that's what I'm getting to be.

Lucky me, though, my husband gets it.

Yeah, Bat crazy is a good description for my love of my machines. I get way too much joy out of them. I'm looking forward to restoring the 1955 MW machine once my sewing room is finished. The sheet rock guys are downstairs as I type, taping and floating the walls. I'll be glad when it's done and I can get back to sewing, instead of just alterations and mending, with a little embroidery thrown in. I have a stash to sew dang it...this not having a sewing space thing is killin me! lol

I always see people boast about the ULT's. They must be workhorses
