So I opened my big mouth and long story short, I need to learn how to applique onto a baby's onesie. NOW. I'm thinking... I have a 1000CPX... If I draw a design with a fading marker (Surely there's a better way?), and follow that design... it might look good? Maybe? Anyone? Bueller? ;)

If you've done embellishment with your chain stitch, I'd love to see some pictures, even if it doesn't apply to my current predicament. Certainly this won't be the only time my mouth gets me into trouble. (Darnit, Mom was right!)

The blue jacket has random lines of chain stitching as an embellishment.

I've made a tote and used the chainstitch on my Janome CP1000 to do embellishment. There are photos in my Flickr album that you can see within this review. HTH
