I contacted Beverly Johnson, the Fairy Bra Mother, and asked her if she ever went to a location rather than have people come to her.
She said she does do that. She charges $1000 a day plus expenses. However, if you look at what it would cost to fly to her business in Canada and get hotel rooms, I think it would be less.
They way I have it figured if 6 people signed up for her class it might cost around $1600 each. That's excluding materials. We would have to find a room to host the class as well. I know it's a lot of money but is anyone interested?

Anne St. Clair of Needle Nook Fabrics came to The Sewing Lounge in St. Paul a couple years ago...can't remember exactly.
The Sewing Lounge was a great venue for the class. We were required to send our measurements to Anne in advance & she made test bra samples for each of us. We tried those on & she tweaked the fit on our bodies. She gave a lecture, then went back to her hotel and made patterns for each of us.
Saturday we spent sewing our bras. The class included her pattern, our custom fitted pattern, and kits for 3 bras. I say all this just for comparison.
Sorry I can't recall exactly how much for the class, but I think it was a couple hundred dollars. $1600 seems outrageous, but I'm guessing that if Beverly came here you would get Waaaay more than 6 women to sign up.

Not sure if you are aware of this already but she has a class on craftsy:linky linky
I purchased it just before Christmas for $19.99. I noticed an email from JA's recently for half off classes in the subject line, though I didn't click through because I was just quickly scanning. Not sure if it was for any class at all or only limited selection. Think of the fabrics and trimmings and bra patterns you could get with the $ saved. Ooh la la!

I am signed up for the class. I just think it would be more fun to make a bra with her actually there!

I totally forgot about Anne St. Clair!!!
Beverly's class is very expensive if you take her class in her shop in Canada. I just can't remember how much it was.
She has a class what is called "Boob Camp" I would love to go to that just for fun, well, to come home with some excellent fitting bras, too!

I'm afraid it would be way creepy for me to get into making bras. Sorry.

I would highly recommend you take this class. The best part was when someone would finish, then step out to show off their good fit. Lots of (happy) tears & cheers!
