I would love a sewing room. Fab wallpaper, though.

Wow! That is pretty cool. In my sewing room that wallpaper would be totally overwhelming, but I can imagine it looking fantastic in a bigger or brighter sewing room.
I don't think you can go wrong adding this wallpaper to any existing color scheme. All the colors are there!!

I think this is the kind of wallpaper design that's best done as an accent wall (one wall) not the entire room. It nice but as a one wall accent design.

I pretty much agree and had painted walls in all my flats. However, I went a little wild in this present flat and have a monochrome barcode stripe along one wall in my tiny bathroom.

You could make one maybe.
The thread spool colors look about the same size and shape as the all the rectangular paint sample chips/cardboards at the paint stores to me. Take enough sample chips home, apply them to something, (like a board) and paint the spool tops and bottoms on there, and I think you would have it possibly? It would be a bit too busy for me though, and all those colors would just be crashing more with all the colors of all my fabrics stacked up I think, if it was a whole wall of it.

I love wallpaper, but only really bold dramatic ones, I can't stand little ditsy type prints. I love murals too. In my previous flat we decorated with very tasteful neutral paint everywhere, this time we are going wild :)
