Forgive me fellow sewers. I’m not sure where to fit this insightful article about (quilt) pricing – it rightfully should go into the Sewing As a Business forum but that’s just for FoPR and this is an article for all PR members, as many are sewing for others, considering taking their sewing to the next step or are new to sewing exploring all options they can go with in sewing. I couldn’t see it in MISC either and it’s not a PR article so it couldn’t go into Sewing Articles. Though the article talks about the pricing of quilts, all sewers can benefit from what’s in the article about pricing their work. There has been a thread or two in the past several months about pricing our sewing and I felt this article would add some insightful information for the sewist to consider – quilter or not. It’s definitely going into my reference sewing file. It’s a lengthy read but worth the time.

The afterthought came to me that maybe PR needs a Forum for articles (or media) that are not from PR – maybe Deepika could open up the Sewing Articles forum and have PR articles as one of the categories in it. How do people feel about this suggestion?

Thank you for posting this!! It was so informative...but kind of depressing at the same time.. no one but someone that quilts truly appreciates the time and creativity that goes into it....
