Ok--I have read posts about using different needles to eliminate skipped stitches on coverstitch machines and other "remedies" by changing needles on machines. I have the Bernina Bernette 009DCC coverstitch machine. Gigi says to use JLx2 needles for this machine if it is skipping. Well, where do you get these needles? Also, while looking for needles, I stumbled across Triple Needles--like the doubles only 3. I have used the doubles before to "simulate" coverstitch before I got a real machine. But what about the triples? Can they be used to simulate a triple coverstitch using wooly nylon in the bobbin? Is it very stretchy?
Also, is there a needle chart online that I can access to see which needle can be used on different machines? Like my new Janome 634D says to use "HA1-SP". What the heck is that? I don't recall seeing those locally. Is there a "replacement" for these? Inquiring minds want to know!
