I ordered several fabrics from them a couple of years ago and some of the knits were cut so crooked (at an angle) that they came up short.
I have been afraid to order anything from them since, but they are having a terrific sale on knits right now and it is tempting.
Has anyone had a good experience with them?

I had this happen once. I called them. I also took a picture in case they wanted to see it. They didn't. Anyway, I called and calmly told them the situation. I had a replacement piece of fabric (full yardage) in my hands within a week. No problems. Customer service was polite and efficient, if not super friendly. No warm fuzzies, but they did the job.
I have always had a good experience with them. Once I received a polyester double-knit instead of the cotton it was described as. The correct fabric, but they called it cotton when it was polyester. I told them it was polyester (I did a burn test) they sent me a replacement of my choice of equal value.
I have no issues with Fashion Fabrics Club.

I've not ordered knits from them*, but I have been delighted with my last couple of orders from FFC/Denver Fabrics... so much so that I am just about to bite the bullet on some of the most expensive fabric I have ever bought. Eek!!! (Thankfully, they now have swatches available--for a cost--for some of their items.)
*I buy all my knits from FabricMart. I am a timid knit newbie, and absolutely everything I've ordered from FM has been wonderful quality and easy to work with. I haven't had that same luck with knits from brick & mortar stores or other web merchants, so until I'm more confident in my own abilities to work with fussier fabrics, I'm sticking with FM. But if you do order, you'll have to let us know what you think!
ETA: Fabric Mart is currently having a sale on jersey knits, if you're in the market. They may not have the huge selection right now that FFC does, but their prices are pretty reasonable (almost everything between $3.50-$6/yard).
Um, not trying to enable, or anything.

Thanks everyone!
I guess I should have called them, but I didn't.
They have a nice selection, and the sale goes until June 15.

I order all the time. Just be selective, and read the information listed.
I too received a poly for a cotton. I went back to the fabric and it said cotton in the title, but poly in the fiber content box.

I've had pretty good experiences with FFC and Denver Fabrics. They have a lot of fabric, and the quality varies for so-so to excellent. But they generally describe it fairly well. On balance, I get almost all my knits from Fabric Mart as well, not FFC or DF.

I noticed Fabric Mart advertises much of its fabric as being from "Maggy London." I'm not well versed on brands. Is that some sort of designer brand? The prices seem really good.

Maggy London is a RTW designer. She also designed patterns for Butterick (I think it was Butterick) for a while.
I've noticed that many of the fabrics under her name are poly or poly blends, so if you're a natural fabric fan, that might color your decision.
Not having ordered any, I can't tell you about the quality.

I recently got some black ponte de roma by Maggy London from FabricMart and it's great. Sews wonderfully, washed beautifully, just great to work with. I don't know if it's identical to the FFC stuff, but it would be odd if it wasn't. Otherwise, the designer's name as a descriptive wouldn't mean anything.
