I know a lot of people here were or know someone who was in the damaged areas of hurrican Katrina. I made a donation to one of the larger groups, but would some of you be willing to post the addresses of your local churches or charities that would be working in your area. I would love to support some of the people here in their areas, where the donations would be more personal. Also, we know the most destitute will receive help first, but those of you who still have a home you can stay in, though it may be very damaged need help as well. It would also give us a way to help our sewing community.

How do others feel about this? Or is this over the top.

Janet
