After eliminating pants' front darts, should I remove the extra fabric from front side seams only. If so, should I reshape back seam lines to match the new front seam lines?

Can't really be answered from the information given. Why are you eliminating the darts? Do you not need the shaping, or are you making something like an elastic waist, or what? Do you need the dart shaping in back?

I want to eliminate the darts for the full tummy. Without the darts ,the skirt will hang straight and has less ripples under the darts. Before I eliminated the darts, the side seams tilted to the back. I still keep darts in back. I don't use elastic waist now . It's a sloper.

If the side seams pulled to the back at the waist, that argues there is too much width in the front waist, or too little in back, or both.

I would repin the side seams, keeping that seamline vertical, and repin the darts, shortening the front darts if they were too deep -- which it sounds like from the ripples. You may want to deepen the side seam at the waist, and possibly take a bit out of the center front waist -- will this pants or skirt have a center front zipper?

A photo or two of the problem area would help.

Almost all bodies need darts in the waist if the pants or skirt come close to the natural waist (instead of a dropped waist).

Thanks, Kayl. The side seams pulled to the back at the bottom, not the waist. There is no center front zipper. It's at the back. I don't know how to upload the photos by usuing URL.

Side seams pulled to the back at the bottom of the dart.? At the bottom of the leg? At the bottom of the full hip? Wherever it was, it suggests the back is too small there.
