yes this actually got started at a farm near where I live...have not gone there yet though. It looks like fun and I guess it is expanding to dog yoga and even pig yoga.

Well sometimes I do cat yoga-- not on purpose; I just have a cat who enjoys using people as trees.

The Tucson Humane Society is starting kitten yoga in a couple of weeks.

Personally, I've tried kitten floor work, it ended with a cat trying to take a bite out of my medicine ball. At least that went better for him than the time he took a bite out of the yoga ball.

This is the kind of thing that brings out the cranky old lady in me. The one near us charges $25 per class!

The local petting zoo is free and I don't have to get my mat dirty. Want to make some $$ and entice me to your goat farm? Put out some lawn chairs and give me a glass of wine while I play.

"... and their tiny hooves feel more like a gentle massage ..." HA!!!! (*snort*) That cracked me up. I do wonder - how do they keep the goats from nibbling on everyone's yoga mat? Mine try to nibble on my clothes pretty much daily, because ya never know I *might* wear something edible.

(Hubby says this has been all over Facebook for like a month ... this is the first I've seen or heard of it. And here we are with eight goats in back.)

I don't really make mistakes ... I create "learning opportunities"! Murphy says: The better you match the thread to the fabric, the more likely you will need to rip some stitches out! I spend more quality time with my seamripper than I like ...
Yes, I DO love fabric!!

LOL Elona! I'm wondering if I can convince the powers that be to let me hold a yoga class at the daycare. Twelve babies and toddlers crawling all over you must be at least as enticing as goats!

I teach Iyengar yoga, which is not hot, fast, trendy or new-agey, has no goats, beer, aroma therapy or stand up paddle boards (yes, there is that kind of yoga, as well). We have middle aged (okay beyond middle aged) teachers, similarly aged students in outfits largely from Costco and Winners or in my case "home" made. It's pretty cool IMHO.

We cannot compete with the cuteness of baby goats (because adorable!) but I suspect we'll be hanging in there after the goat trend is over. I will keep my eyes open for nibbled mats!

I often refer to dumb stuff at work as a "goat rodeo" but this is a new one on me!

That was fun to watch.

I kept wondering if a goat would poop on someone (I'm a grown woman with an inner 12 year old boy).
