At first, I was underwhelmed. But I took a second look and now I'm ordering printer ink so I can print out the pattern and get to work!!

MariaDenmark

It's a T-shirt pattern that made me yawn. Until I looked a little closer. I'm trying to get to get to some pictures that I can show here.

eta: found one Besides the interesting neckline, I'm realizing I can learn from the way she fits and styles these. I seriously love her.

Thanks for posting this. The current issue looks at fitting for a rounded upper back which, while not really pronounced is a thing for me. The necklines and body shape for the tee in this issue are nice. Since building a set of TNTs is my aim for 2020, it could be a good beginning. The other thing is that one can cancel at any time which allows for a way out if it doesn’t seem worth the investment.

I am still restricted, but I am planning and looking ahead to mid-February or possibly early March.

I know many here can help you with that particular fitting issue without needing to subscribe.

I enjoy her sewing info and her design vibe - not just the garments but the way she styles them in ways that seem new and modern while still age appropriate for conservative (and older) me. I'm pretty style challenged and need all the help I can get.

I know DH would rather come home to me in that T-shirt than one of his!

Good reminder. Eventually I will be cleared to sew again. And I hope to be ready after all this down time.

I subscribed back in November. I haven’t made any of the patterns yet, but I have enjoyed reading the magazines and learning more about fitting.

And I love the T-shirt pattern! It’s different from any other pattern I own. I’m hoping to have time to make it soon (emphasis on hoping). It’s a pain that life interferes with my sewing goals!

I subscribed last fall too and haven't sewn anything yet. I really don't wear skirts, didn't really care for the jumpsuit and feel like the trench coat was beyond my skills (definitely beyond what I have the energy to tackle).

I agree that the magazine has been worth it and I hope the T-shirt turns out well. My printer ink just arrived but I'm going to be slammed until Saturday.

I have high hopes. I'll try to remember to post here if I get it made this weekend.
