So I always feel this issue with my sewing. Whenever my bodice has lining, and at the final step of sewing front shoulders together, to back ones, both ends do not match.

1. Front bodice attached to lining bodice, turned right outside
2. back bodice with lining bodice and turned right outside
3. now, to attach both lined pieces on shoulders. Here the issue comes that ends do not match.

While sewing lining to main fabric, there is always bit of mismatch of seam line and that becomes significant and shows, since i make mistake in sewing for both sides.
No matter how precisely I cut, but while sewing, i see this issue.
In my current project, I am thinking of hand tacking it with needle and thread. Excess part tacking it to back but that will create bulkiness?
What are tips? How to avoid such mistakes and then if done, how to deal.
I hope i was clear in explaining the problem.

.Sew the shoulder seams of the lining together, then sew the fabric shoulders seams. Now pin right sides together and sew neckline and arm openings. Trim and clip seams. Now pull it right side out.

This is how I've always done it, as well.

Gretchen is right, do it as she suggests. The important thing to remember is to leave the side seams and center back (assuming that's where the zipper is) open while you do this. If they're sewn up, you won't be able to turn the garment right side out.

I was sewing for several years before I learned it. I remember the frustration.
