Is this available at Joanns or Hancock? I haven't been out there to see and can't find it online from a recognizable source. Any ideas?

I use pattern ease - it's not pattern paper, but more like an interfacing type material that you can see through enough to trace. In fact, you find it in the interfacing dept. at Joanns!

Hancock's has some stuff around the interfacing. Not sure what it is called but it is made out of interfacing like fabric, it is see thru, and it has red dots all over it.

Wonderful ladies, thanks so much. I'm remaking one of my favorite shirts. I'm so excited.

I read somewhere that SEWERS CLOTH is a good and cheap alternative to interfacing to be used for pattern paper. I've called different plumbing supply houses and searched the web, to no avail?? Has anyone else ever heard of this?

I tried hunting for a roll of medical paper earlier today. There's no one around that's willing to sell or order me just one roll. One place wanted to sell me a case of 12 rolls for $80. Yes, that's a good price, but 12 rolls??? I haven't looked online, because it seems that shipping would be very high.

Well Jessica, that is a lot..............but my roll is going down fast with the Burda WOF lately. I end up tracing, modifying, and retracing.
Got any doctor friends? Any friends who work for doctors?

Nope, no doctor friends. I called my pediatrician and they're willing to GIVE me a roll, but it has a printed design on one side. I'm going to stop in tomorrow to see how dark the print is. Seems to me that would impede the tracing process. BWOF has enough lines as it is!
My sister works at the hospital. Maybe she could get me a roll... Hmm...

Hey where do you live in PA? I am in NY near Binghamton. I could use a few rolls. However shipping would be $$$$.

You are probably referencing "soil separation fabric". Many people use it, but not everyone likes it. I use it, but do have reservations about it sometimes.

Another alternative tracing paper review. I have this as well, and like it but it is smooth on both sides. I have another tracing paper that is slightly rough on one side, which helps keep it from shifting. I just don't remember where I got that!
