I stumbled upon this image browsing online today. That fitting dummy just blows. my. mind.

It is amazing how little 'Sabrina's' shape and mine have in common. Hard to believe we are the same species!

Ouch. Seriously. Breasts can't possibly be meant to take that shape.

"Made to measure" Perhaps they mean they will make you to measure?

Are you sure that's not Madonna's dressform?

The boobs are bad enough, but did anyone really ever have a waist like that except for Scarlet O'Hara? Ouch!

It's all done with undergarments. I know I'm not the only one who remembers girdles and those yucky bras with the concentric lines of stitching shaped like a pair of ice cream cones.

Nope, I remember them, too! And what I remember most is P.E. in high school and having to put back on a girdle/garter belt combo with nylons after a quick shower in a steamy hot locker room. Eeewwwww. Of course that was back in the day when girls had to wear skirts and dresses, no pants.

Yikes, really showing my age on this note!

Aha, this is exactly what I was refering to a few months ago about body shaping (I mean true body shaping, ala "heathen" tribes in the jungle sort of thing). I think that this is why the pattern companies' slopers are still off, they are from a time when people permanently altered their figures via undergarments.

You'll notice that the woman in the photo actually does have that figure! Yikes! No wonder she looks like she's in pain, she probably is.

Even Barbie doesn't have a figure like that!
