I have found that the Hot Patterns Razer pant with its L shaped back crotch is fantastic and it solves my baggy seat problem. But I still have a front crotch issue. I get a upside down v shaped pleat forming under the zipper. I have a stomach, short front waist and small waist to hip . Any suggestions?

Nancy, Wrinkles generally point to the problem. It sounds like your wrinkles are pointing to the front crotch seam. Try making the front curve a little deeper. If this is not the problem and your description does have me scratching my head a bit because you say it it "under the zipper" If it is not a crotch curve problem -could it be a how the zipper was sewn in problem? A picture would help!

I made a muslin of this pant and got the same thing. I think others have too, but double check the reviews to be sure.

It is definitely a crotch curve drafting problem. I can't begin to explain how it is wrong.

I solved it by taking a pattern that had a front crotch that was curved right for me and traced it onto this pattern.

I think...think that this is a common problem for those that use a software program similar to what HP uses. I don't use that program so I could be wrong. I do know that the program I have that when I bought it several years ago this was a common problem. I am vaguely remembering something about lengthing the front crotch length to aleviate it. But it may be more like you need to lengthen it to get it lay down far enough, but then shorten it at the top if you have a tilted waist. I know that sounds counterintuitive, but I think that is what it is. It has been several months since I made my test HP pattern and much longer since I used my software program.

HTH and not confuse you. I do know that this front crotch is a product of the software being used and is common or used to be common. That is why I just went and copied from another pattern, I got tired of trying to figure it out.
