fabric clubs (Moderated by Deepika)

Does anyone remember a fabric club called "Designer's Choice Fabrics"? I think they were out of Colorado but I'm not sure. They would send you a portfolio of pattern designs and included was a packet of sample fabrics to be used in the designs. The designs would usually complement one another and had some sort of a theme. I loved this club. But I stopped sewing clothing while I started a business sewing window treatments. I'm looking back at some of the past portfolios and I'm getting nostalgic. I would love to join up with another club such as this. Does anyone know of one? I googled them and nothing comes up. I spent a ton of money with Designer's Choice! They inspired and motivated me every time they sent a mailing. Sure would like to do that again!

Hi pamd,
You might want to check past topics here on PR - I know there are several cmpanies that send monthly or quarterly samples; some are subscriptions that you have to pay for.
Fashion Fabric Club is one. Reviews here on PR are mixed. I have gotten them for a little over a year now, and don't think I have ever bought from the samples, but I have bought quite a bit from their special offers that I receive via email. Vogue Fabrics actually has two swatch clubs - one is discounted fabric and the other is newer, more expensive fabric.
Happy hunting!
