Re: Sewing Machine Case (posted on 12/2/06 11:06 PM ET)
I have a Kenmore sewing machine, model #158.15160, which had been originally purchased with a sewing table. Since the sewing machine is no longer attached to the sewing table, I need some type of support unit to stabilize the machine, since it only has 3 legs to stand on. Any suggestions?

I have a Kenmore and I recently purchased a presser foot from the Sears website. I called the 800 parts number, but they didn't have anything available, but the part was listed on their web site. Doesn't make sense, but I bought it through the web site. You should try there. Sears.com.

See if you can get someone to make one of these bases to fit your machine. Or, better yet, do it yourself if you have the tools & desire.

Also, Kenomre sewing tables can frequently be found at thrift stores.
