Ok, my sewing fashionista's I have a question,

would an invisiable zipper or a regular polyester zipper be best suited for sewing into a strecth knit garment? I am working on a ballroom gown and I have heard pros and cons against both! Need correct information from someone who's actually used one or the other. Help!!!

Bobbie, whichever zipper you choose, be sure to interface the zipper area with lightweight fusible interfacing. Cut strips an inch wide and about an inch longer than the zipper and fuse them to the wrong side of the seam and slightly into the garment to cover the stitching line. This will make both the insertion of the zipper easier but, more importantly, you won't have the ugly ripples in the finished garment. As far as choice, it's really personal preference and the "look" you want.

Bobbie I concur with Patti. I have had good luck with invisible zippers in even lightweight knit dresses. The stabilizing with interfacing is key.
