Does anyone have any experience using invisible thread? I purchased some Sulkey brand to use for top stitching on a multicolored top but my Janome doesn't seem to like it. I am using white cotton Sulkey in the bobbin. The thread doesn't break, but when I get halfway through the seam it gets very taught and the material starts to pucker up. Am I doing something wrong?

It sounds like it's not feeding through your tension properly.
One thing you could try, to stop the puckering, is taut sewing. This is when you pull on the fabric/threads, behind the presser foot. This helps to feed the correct amount of thread into the fabric.
Taut sewing is often needed on lightweight fabrics, no matter what type of thread you're using.

I have had this issue. The invisible threads tend to be very wiry and can come off the spool faster than the rate needed. They then get caught up on the spool holder and wind around it and the next thing you know it is taut as can be. What worked for me was trying another brand and using a thread holder behind the machine. Oddly enough, what worked best for me was the Sulky. It may be a machine specific thread issue.
Good luck.

After reading the posts I went back and tried again. I then realized the thread was winding around the spool holder as you mentioned. I moved it to a different upright holder and it works much better. I also tried the taut sewing as mentioned and between the two finally got a perfect stitch. I am sewing a very thin material so this was a great help. Thanks.
