I'm about to start a twin set with a gorgeous fabric from Emma Seabrooke and would like to do a picot edge on the neckline, armholes (it's sleeveless) and hem.

I found Debbie Cook's picture tutorial and it's very helpful (as usual) but I'm concerned about stretching out the neckline. Seems that clear elastic would prevent the picot from forming.

Any tips?

Thanks!
