Well, I don't see many posts in this section that actually are people just giving tips, but I'm so proud I just had to put mine in here. I have narrow shoulders and a large bust, so in stores I often end up having to choose between shirts that are larger than I would like, or uncontrollable buttons. I have finally discovered a solution to this, at least on stretch fabrics-I made the button holes smaller! I found a great spandex blend shirt that fit like a dream; if I could just make the buttons stay closed. Suddenly it occured to me that my bust was stretching the front fabric, including the button holes, and maybe that was why they kept unbuttoning. So I took it home, made the holes smaller with just the tiniest bit of hand stiching, and no more popping problems! I wish I had thought of this years ago, I hope this helps some other ladies who have this same problem

Actually, there is an entire section of this board devoted to tips only.

Look on the left side - in the section labeled Sewing Reviews, towards the bottom, there is a link called Sewing Tips & Techniques.

It's a good tip, so you should post it there as well.

Suo ergo maledicto

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. - Steve Jobs
