Help, my daughter wants her winter formal dress trimed in red with a red paisley satin belt at the waist. I need to find either a wide ribbon (preferred) or fabric. Does anyone know where I can find either?

Hi damiller29672,

You might try these sources:
shopangelico.com
reprodepot.stores.yahoo.net
mini-magic.com
tinseltrading.com
silkthings.com
activetrimming.com/store
batcheldersilk.com
stranodesigns.com
ribbonjar.com
theribbonerie.com
lesbonribbon.com
ginstrim.com
lacis.com
lfntextiles.com
uncommonthread.com
sewingworkshop.com
buttonemporium.com

I can't vouch for most of these - they are just sites I have listed in my database, having stumbled on them looking for other things.

The last one, buttonemporium.com, I CAN vouch for! Great source for buttons and ribbons.

Happy hunting!

Regards,

I'm not sure where you are in SC, but check the store reviews on this site-- Mary Jo's in Gastonia, NC has a huge inventory, and there are a couple of nicer sewing/fabric stores inthe York, SC/ South Charlotte, NC area.
Good Luck!

Some of the most unusual ribbon I've found is at www.calontirtrim.com. They have a few red paisleys.

Hi clt3,

Thank you very much for this link - I had not run across it before.
