I am trying to make a stand mixer cover for my new Kitchen Aid mixer. I have the concept in my head, but I can't quite visualize how to sew this together. I have some prequilted material and some piping. It should just be a matter of taking one big piece and putting 2 end pieces on it, but I can't figure this out....
I found this link directions
But I can't figure out what they are telling me to do for sure. I don't understand what size to cut the piece that has cut 2 on it. I am assuming the cut 1 piece is the 31x14.
Once I figure out how to cut the end pieces, do I just sew those 2 ends onto the bigger piece, right sides together with the piping in the middle of the 2 pieces?

Click on "pattern" up in the directions and another window will pop up. That is to print and it has the pattern piece drawn out for you.

I don't mind going to work but it's that 8 hour wait to go home that's a B!TCH.

I wish I had found this one before I went through my mixer cover fiasco. Please let us know how it turns out.

I hadn't given much thought to doing a review, but I suppose I can. I will work on it tomorrow.

Yes, I do love my mixer. I have used it 3 times already and just love it. I also bought the meat grinder attachment and that works great too.
I did do a review and it is up on the board.
