I have been looking for some ombre! There is one at EOS which is orange/yellow I believe, but I'm really looking for an ombre with purples, blues, pinks, etc.

I'm open to others though!

I've been through most of my bookmarked fabric stores, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a place with a good selection? I just know it is coming into style..atleast in MY world! lol hehe.

Hi - what kind of fabric? chiffon, satin, etc....

I picked up some fabulous ombre special occasion fabrics on clearance from JoAnn's. I don't know if you'd still be able to find them, but it's possible that they're still knocking around. They came in copper, purples, blues and green. They came on either 58" or 60" bolts and were marked down to $5/yd.

I made this cape from the blue one. You can see how it's almost like liquid metal.

In reply to Kellie R.
That is a polyester made by Logantex.
Thumperlove, you may find some of it at indies around the country if you do a google search for Logantex ombre polyester or you might even try contacting Logantex (although good luck with getting an answer).

EOS did have some ombred fabric in several colors, I wonder if she sold out.

Anjoorian Silks has some different colors in hammered silks, here

Thank you!

I guess I'd prefer silk, but would consider a synthetic. Probably NOT anything cotton, although I've seen some pretty ombre quilting fabric but I'd like to make a flowy dress so that would be out.

Thanks for the link!

I will definately go check out Joann's. I haven't been there in awhile.

Hopefully it will become more readily available - I just saw it listed as a major spring trend in InStyle magazine.

This is a great topic! I've been looking for ombre silks also. I'll be checking these sources.
