I purchased a shirt pattern and have had in mind to make it with white dotted swiss (or baby blue). You'd think I could easily find it on my own, but I have searched and can't! Can anyone tell me if they know of a website I can order white dotted swiss fabric from?

Thanks so much!

try Farmhouse fabrics. They have some beautiful dotted swiss in several colours. Pricey but worth it for the quality. lynne

Shocking, isn't it?

I was on a dotted Swiss quest a couple of years ago and was appalled at how hard finding this lovely and once standard fabric turned out to be...

Some of the heirloom sewing places had it.... expensive, though.

Here is some dotted swiss cotton at Waechters Silk shop in Asheville, NC. I was there a few months ago and the quality is lovely. Certainly not cheap. here

Here's another place. Carol Harris Co. Scroll two thirds of the way down. They have pretty blues.

Another place I found. Martha Pullen

Yet another place, but I have no idea of the quality since it's only 9.00/yd. and comes in only two colors, bright pink and black. Harts Fabrics

Thanks for all the great replies! I am glad to have found some new fabric sites to bookmark.

Now I just have to decide which to order from! It's so nice to actually have choices.

Wow! What a great site! I bookmarked it.

After remembering that she has a fabric store now, I checked out Ann's GorgeousFabrics.com and found and ordered dotted Swiss there, along with a darling blue polka dot cotton to make my daughter a dress.

I'm glad I posted this question, though, because I found out about fabric sites that I did not know were out there.

Thanks again for all of the help!

Try Waechter's, Gorgeous Fabrics, or Farmhouse fabrics. Farmhouse Fabrics, like other heirloom sites has very high quality swiss voile which may be a bit much both $$ wise and for everyday wear. BTW, if you are at all interested in vintage styling Farmhouse has just posted for sale a pimaprint white pindot on red. I just mention this cause I have for weeks been looking for this fabric after seeing a blouse made from the like in a movie (movie timeline late 40's). I have already got mine. Also, Fabric.com has dotted swiss, in colors, not as good quality, but may be what you are looking for.

I agree that dotted swiss can be very pricey, but for a blouse that is both sophisticated and sexy, it is tops.
