I don't know if it's just the way I am standing or what, but after seeing the photo I noticed this jacket looks very odd around the middle. I don't remember seeing those folds between bust and waist in the mirror when I got dressed that morning.

It looks like you did a great job. If the abdomen and hip area have sufficient ease, I suspect that it is drooping on the sides due to your shoulder slope. Try an extra shoulder pad and see how it affects the fit. I have the same problem and if I don't adjust for shoulder slope, a thicker shoulder pad does the trick.

Thank you. I don't usually use shoulder pads--they bother me in RTW clothes. I've never put one in something I've made. I did adjust for shoulder slope, though.
Here is the back view. It seems like it's way too big. I wonder if I should take in the CB seam.

You might take in the CB seam from neck to waist area. It looks like you have nice ease from the waist down.
Just a thought about the front. Is there a horizontal bust dart? I wonder if maybe you could increase it a little if so. That might reduce that little wrinkle.

just a thought..have you been sitting in it all day..the material might have expanded just enough to give those lines..especially if you didnt have them in the morning..other than that a really cute jacket.

FWIW your jacket looks very nice to me. IMHO all you need is some shoulder pads. Don't hit me as I know you don't want to hear this.
I use to bury my head in the sand too when it came to shoulder pads. I grew up in the 80's, the line-backer shoulder era, so I had a real aversion to them.
However when you have sloping shoulder it makes such a difference to your overall appearance and the fit of a jacket. I don't like RTW shoulder pads either. Hate them with a passion in fact, but that no longer stops me putting shoulder pads in the jackets I sew. The thing about sewing is you can use any shoulder pad you like. The trick is finding one you like and feel comfortable wearing. It took me a while but I finally found a really small one I like. It's supposed to be used in blouses but I like it in my jackets. I've bought a big stash of them so if they are ever discontinued I'm safe.
So my advice is to give a small shoulder pad a go. By pass all the pads that say "suit" and "jacket" and look for something a bit smaller. You'll be surprised at the difference even a really small shoulder pad makes.
HTH and really nice jacket!

Hmmm ... I will give it a try. Maybe a really, really small one. I do have horribly sloping shoulders.

Here's version 2.0. I LOVE this one! Something about the fabric ... I am very happy. I didn't do anything different from the other one, nor have I made any alterations to the other one yet ...
