I came across this ad and wondered if anyone knew anything about it. It is written by Marion Lewis, who is unknown to me.

Unique Brand New Common Sense Fitting Method
Are you hard-to-fit? Get common sense insider secrets for great fitting pants and skirts - you won't believe you can sew and look this good this easily! Get the fit! It is not your typical fitting course! It just makes sense!

She offers a fitting course for about thirty dollars. I am curious but do not want to waste my money if anyone can steer me in the right direction.

Hmmm. I saw the website. If I didn't spend so much money on fitting classes, I'd try it myself. It's interesting that she offers only pants and skirts; probably because they are the only things you can adequately fit yourself without a helper.

There's a PR review of this eBook. Read the comments to the review to get a better idea of what the method is about.

My impression (and it's only an impression) is that this approach might be of particular interest if you are dealing with annoying differences in the left and right sides of your body - hip higher or lower than the other, waist tipping, etc. Apparently, she has an approach that deals with each quadrant of the waist/hip area separately. (left front, left back, right front, right back) Of course, none of us is perfectly symmetrical, so her approach might be helpful.

Her web site (a bit wordy) where the author describes the fitting issues that inspired her; she uses the phrase "unbalanced and lopsided". Here she shows some photos of an example of pants fitting issues she addresses.

Disclaimer: I do not own this Ebook, and have no opinion about it, either good or bad; I have no recommendation one way or another. I'm just passing on a few snippets of info that you might find useful in your decision-making process.

I purchased this E-book and found it somewhat lacking. She has very few pictures.

For me, some of the steps did not make sense, but that could just be me. It requires many measurements which may or may not work if you are trying to measure yourself.

She did respond to an email I wrote to her but I didn't feel that she answered my question on the problem(s) I was having with the directions.

A few years ago, a poster on this board posted a review of pants she made from this book. She said the pants fit well, but she did have her husband help with the measuring.

Maybe you can find her review under the "Other" catagory on the review board.

Thanks for the info, Woggy. I was curious about this system, and as always, buy different systems to compare. Now I won't.
