needing a dress form (Moderated by Deepika, EleanorSews)

I need to purchase a dress form so I can get going on my daughter's bridal gown. It would be helpful if I can purchase a dress form on sale or with a coupon.
I'm a little confused with the coupons in the flyer. There is a "10% off your total purchase". It then states that it can't be combined with another coupon. Well what good is the extra 10% off then? I read somewhere on Joann's website that you can't use a coupon for a dress form. It seems in my research that some people have been able to use coupons on the dress forms. Has anyone here purchased a dress form recently from Joann's and used the 50% off either at the store or online?

I purchased my dress form from Joann's and was able to use the 40% off coupon from the flyer. It had to be ordered ( my local store is very small ) and I had to pay for it in advance but they did take the coupon

If you use the 10% off your total purchase coupon, you can't use a 40% off coupon on the same item. The 10% off is only on regular and sale price items in your purchase (except all the items in fine print). If the dressforms are already on sale at 40-50% off, THEN you can get an extra 10% off with that coupon. You just can't use 2 coupons on the same item... like a 40% coupon PLUS the 10% coupon. Make sure they take the 40% off first and it will come off the most expensive item, then scan the 10% coupon for anything else in your purchase that may qualify.

The only "10% off" that you'll find that can be combined with the other coupons are the 10% off offers you get with membership in the ASG (American Sewing Guild), Fons and Porter's Quilter's Club or the teacher discount.
Those discounts are taken off after all the other discounts are. And it works!! :)
