I seem to be going through elastic like my serger goes through thread.  I keep running out. Going to Joanns just for packs of elastic is getting old.  Time to buy bulk and save.  I like Strechrite knit non-roll elastic or any elastic that can be sewn in and cased, and I usually buy 3/4 inch and some 1 inch.  Anyone know of a good inexpensive source online that ships promptly?

I haven't ordered from them, but had fun poking around this site that seems to carry a LOT of moderately priced notions.

Speaking of elastic in bulk, does any one know the brand of elastic Loes Hinse recommends for her patterns.  I seem to remember her recommending something during a class, but cannot find the class notes (of course).

I like "Hoesew.com".  I order regularly, and the 50 yard rolls are great.  I don't buy that so much any more since I dont sew dozens of shorts at one time for DD's.  I did however, go through the 50 yards of clear elastic I bought from them.  I thought I would have it forever, but ended up using it all for buntings in  a few weeks and had to order more!

Hoesew?  Sorry, I'm lost, is that an abbrevation?

It's Homesew.  I've ordered from them and they are fast and the prices can't be beat.

Thanks, I didn't want to miss anything!  (I never heard of it before so I couldn't fill in the missing letters)  I already have some elastic in my cart, love that price for 50 yards.
