I have tried and tried. I cannot get my pants leg width right. I have wide hips but don't like straight legs because it makes me look like an elephant. I have even tried to use skinny legged patterns to combine with my other pattern that I have the crotch altered already. They seem to draw to the back...like the front isn't right. It is so hard to explain.

Is there any easy method? Thanks!

A photo would help. Can you post one somewhere?

After all your pattern alterations, is the fabric on the pants legs on grain? That is, is the grain line running along the front crease line of the pants leg?

Pants legs will hang "funny" if they are off grain.
