what should I use? (Moderated by EleanorSews)

Hello all! I've been filtering through the linings posts here, but am still a little puzzled about lining fabrics in general.
I'm making a wool jumper for myself and would like to add lining so the wool doesn't stick to my leggings/ tights. So..... basically my question is what type of lining should I use with wool so that it doesn't stick when I wear leggings?
I'm just in general confused when to use what types of linings because there are so many! Thanks!

Bemberg Ambiance is a commonly used and readily available rayon lining that would work. It's lightweight, breathes, and feels nice to the hand.

Bemberg type rayon lining would be my choice too....the less expensive poly type will likely get static and be climbing up your legs in the winter.
I always prewash my Bemberg because I usually hand wash my clothes (vs. drycleaner ...only used for very structured jackets)...so don't be afraid to wash it before you use it...it's been sturdy stuff in my hands and my favorite lining for wovens (unless it's silk charmeuse).
For knits, I line with a knit lining, frequently used for swimsuits/athletic type wear....works great.
