I live in murfreesboro, I go to Joanns in Franklin, thats where I bought my viking.

Maybe we can meet one day even just for coffee or fabric shopping :)
Where did you move from?

Sounds like fun:) I moved from Houston, TX. I have been to that Joanne's several times - a big improvement over the one I went to in Houston (on Weslayan for those in Houston). And, I need to get motivated to sew!

I'm from TN. A great place for a meet-up would be Textile Fabrics...then you can head up the road a bit (toward town) and have a bite at Fiddlecakes. My idea of a perfect visit to Nashville!

I wasn't clear...sorry! I'm "originally from TN"...long gone but visit often! Yes, it's good to visit Textile Fabrics during sales. But, honestly, I don't mind paying more for better fabrics...they are priced very fair.

"up the road" from y'all here in Clarksville ... although I like to invade the Franklin/Triune area each May!

I don't really make mistakes ... I create "learning opportunities"! Murphy says: The better you match the thread to the fabric, the more likely you will need to rip some stitches out! I spend more quality time with my seamripper than I like ...
Yes, I DO love fabric!!

I was born in TN (though I grew up in FL), still have family in various towns. DH and I lived in Chattanooga for almost 3 years before our job move here. Sisters moved back recently (Crossville & McMinnville), and we've had a couple reunions in the past few years. It helps that TN is about halfway between FL and IA. Wouldn't mind moving back myself once we retire. Of course, with our kids raised in IA, and getting married here, that might not be easy once we have grandkids.

Still, TN is always where my heart has been. It's one of the most beautiful states in the US! (IMHO, of course!)
