We get snow most years, sometimes it even lasts a few days, but almost never before Christmas, and usually January and/or February. There isn't a lot of snow on the ground, but it's very cold (-3.5 degC) and has been there for two days now. In November. There is no real point to this post apart from that .

We just "warmed up" to -3ºC during the day in Alberta!
Last week hit -30ºC & while it's normally a "dry" cold, this time wasn't. Brrr.
I'm quite happy to stay inside & catch up on sewing projects!

Hey I bet that's why we don't have "leprechauns" here in the Midwest, because of the hard Winters!!

Victoria BC another place that rarely gets snow got some last week. Temps went down to -6 with a -16 wind chill.

Last Monday the city was a mess with very icy roads and accidents everywhere,

Welcome over . Wait until closer to the time, it could be warm, or wet, or snowy .

It is very pretty, but the roads are slippy and only the main ones will be gritted. I usually go to work by the back roads as it's much quieter, I don't know what to do tomorrow. We don't have winter tyres on the car, usually you would only need them one winter in 20 or so, but last year was bad and this year looks worse. On the bright side, I went out in the car today, and after bad weather last year I know how to drive on snow (Well, so long as slowly and far away from everyone else can be considered 'how to drive').

My brother is a farmer, usually the stock has to be in by about Christmas eve, and there would be grass growing so they wouldn't need feed yet, but they will have to be fed now .

Aarrgghh, I loved snow when I was young!!

It's dry, dry, dry here.
Sunny every day.
Sunny weather is highly over-rated!
Cold tho.

It's actually sunny here too, but it's below freezing! Usually when it snows, it melts within 24 hours, but this is forcast to last until next weekend anyway...

It is very pretty, but I got into work OK. I'm in a better mood with it today, it seems my period was on it's way as well as everything else

No snow in London yet (likely tomorrow though) but yesterday the frost was so thick for the entire day that you could've made a tiny snowman from it!

I've graduated to my super-warm, fleece-interlined coat I made two winters ago. It's THAT cold!!
