I've got the Jumbo (130mmx300mm) frame for the brother pe770 but can't figure out how to use it. I've got a large pattern that I'm wanting to embroider. Could someone please help me? Thanks!

i looked at the a few of the web pages. They all say your machine should handle it. Did you get a dvd with it. It said that it shows you how to use it step by step. Plus it built in to your machine. You just have to select the hoop size. Hope this helps. I have a pfaff. I got a dvd with my jumbo hoop.

Even though you have a larger area to embroider on with the big hoop, your embroidery area is still only 5x7. What that big hoop allows you to do is to --for example--is to embroider several designs without re-hooping. Like a parade of Mickey, Minnie, Donald etc. The other way to use this hoop is to either learn to split designs or buy one pre-split. Your machine's "brain" is only so big and will only hold so much data. 5x7 worth of data--no more. So you will have to split your design into segments that will fit within your design area. I have nit done this before--wonder if there are YouTube videos on the subject?
Anyway-your embroidery area will only be 5x7 at a time.
