My niece wants a pair of bacon print flannel pajama bottoms, and I've decided to use black flannel and sew the bacon on. Has anyone tried the fabric stencils using freezer paper, and what type of paint did you use..... I'm on my way now to Joann's & pearls to pick up some supplies.

I'll be using quilting cotton for the bacon background.

TIA

The Jacquard fabric paints are really nice. I've also used Tulip Paints. Both hold up fairly well to washing.

Thanks quixoticpixels,
I went to pick up the Jacquard fabric paint, but Pearls had run out of the colors I needed. I ended up using Setacolor opaque, this is what I have so far. I also decided to paint directly on the fabric, instead of stencil. I have 8 more slices to paint, then I will pop them on the pj bottoms.

My niece asked for it, her mother and I think it might be a combination of influences...
1. She likes bacon
2. Lady GaGa's meat dress

I don't think she wanted to go all Gaga, but wanted something along those lines. These pj bottoms were inspired by this print from Spoonflower Bacon print. which she picked out when we were together during Thanksgiving.

Wierdly, if you google bacon, you will find all sorts of weird and wonderful items inspired by it. Bacon has quite the following.
