Happy Christmas everyone! (My parents taught me to wish people to be happy, rather than merry. Merry is fun but shallow -- happy is meaningful!) Hope you all have/had a lovely day and Santa brought something nice

It's nearly the end of the day here in New Zealand and I've had a lovely time. We went swimming at the beach this morning, then had a barbecue and did a gift exchange. Now we're chilling out watching movies and eating cheese.

I didn't get any sewing related gifts, but I did get some craft-related items from my Mum in Ireland. I felt very proud of myself for not opening the parcel that arrived in the post until Christmas Day! LOL.

This is why you should buy yourself some presents while you are out shopping for others.. Then you don't have to wait to play with your new toys..
