I searched before posting, but I couldn't find any info about this latest (to me) development. Currently I have several subscriptions to online magazines through Zinio. Just to set the record straight, I have no affiliation with Zinio, other than being a paying subscriber.
I did notice that they are now offering subscriptions to Burda. I find that rather intriguing, as you will probably be able to buy separate issues as well. I wonder how difficult it would be to download, print, and assemble the pattern?

Has anyone taken the plunge? Thoughts?

I never knew this site existed, thanks for posting Noel Anne:)

Can this price be correct for 12 issues?

Digital Subscription / 12 Issues
Zinio Digital Price: $32.51 AU
Save 29% off the Cover Price: $45.51 AU

if the magazine included the patterns in a prinrable format, I would definitely be interested in subscribing here.

Well, I bought the single issue because I had to satisfy my curiosity. The pattern sheet isn't included with the online version. How lame is that? It looks as though all the line drawings and directions are included. Maybe I'm missing something as I don't speak or read Spanish? I hope this is just a glitch and the publishers aren't planning on offering an online version without the patterns?

Thanks for letting us know. I wondered how they would handle the pattern sheets. It's pretty pointless having the magazine without the patterns.

I'm curious--did you ask Zinio about the patternsheets?

I'm wondering what their "official" answer is (which would also reflect Burda's) position. I'm wondering if Burda is moving to publish ALL their patterns as downloads. [And if they would provide some sort of discount/incentive to online magazine subscribers]

One advantage to digital subscriptions is that the patterns would not need to be nested on the sheets.....I'd pay good money for a subscription where I could chose which pattern pieces to print rather than face the challenge and take the time to find the right pieces on the sheet.

Ok, I just sent an email to the folks at Zinio. I'm not expecting to hear anything back until next week given that it's the weekend. I'll keep you posted.

My guess is that Zinio is pretty much clueless, but I can't imagine what the publishers of Burda were thinking when they decided to offer a digital version of the magazine without including the patterns. Dumb!

Thanks for the link. I got a free three month subscription to a food magazine. In the meantime, I'll look for Burda. It wasn't one of the free choices. :(

It should come with patterns, the magazine description clearly states it does.
