Have a problem and wondering if anyone else has this issue...

I went to embroider last night and the emroidery carriage won't engage. I did monograms on 12 bathrobes only a week ago. Now, the arm won't engage...

Any ideas? I am not forcing it. Just wondered if someone else came across this one. I will bring it in for adjustment, if necessary, but just thought it was weird it was working one minute and not the next....

Phone your dealer,it may be an easy fix.Have you tried something as simple as un plugging and switching back on again.Does the manual help at all?

Sorry for stating the obvious I'm new to embroidery and luckily havn't had an issue at this time

(Please note that I don't have a MC11000, I have a MC9000, so am using my experience with mine as a basis!)

Did it calibrate itself initially when you turned it on? When I turn mine on, it makes sure that it's in the "park" position before it allows me to choose between sewing or embroidery.

Not trying to insult you, but did you make sure to remove the hoop before you turned it off? Did you get any threadnests last use? Bump the arm whilst embroidering?

From what I understand, they're more durable than we think possible, so I think it's unlikely that there's any real damage. I mean, that's the only problem, right?

To me, it sounds as though you just need to take it in for recalibrating. I had to have that done several months ago to the tune of $125.

I've heard about cases where "rebooting" it ~ turning it off, waiting a bit and turning it back on, has worked. Even having to do it a few times before it would "take."

I hope that's the case and it just needs "rebooting!"
