You could drive down here and visit or maybe a nice fabric shopping trip in NY Fun to have adult offspring, isn't it?

Beware the sound system if it has a good one...I about lost my hearing in younger DS's car. WOW. Frantically looking for an off setting & all I heard were subwoofers.

I have to echo Sunny's warning.. I borrowed my DS truck once.. and was unaware he had installed neons underneath it.. and had no idea how to turn them off..
I think they do this to keep us from borrowing their mode of transport.. thats what I think..

Drive it over to the nearest Bernina dealer and act like you want to buy the TOL..

So far I have kept busy making my second Fringe Festival T-shirt. But I think it would be remiss of me not to take advantage of such a great loan. My legs are too short to get the clutch pedal all the way to the floor comfortably, so I had best go find a cushion or something. DH wants dinner, but I am not sure we can both fit with groceries.

Well, we went to get groceries - the long way so I could let it run on the highway. Fun!!!

The getting in and out of the car was a bit nuts, though. I had several devices employed to help me use the pedals properly and that made for a tight squeeze. My head kept hitting the visor because I was just about into the windshield. DH takes a r e a l l y long time to fold himself down that close to the ground. (list of things my DH might do for a mid-life crisis just got shorter! ) And the hand brake is on the left so I couldn't release it without getting out of the car and using my stronger arm. Could have asked DH to do it, but.... The stereo didn't kick in for a minute and it was loud-ish but ok. DS is into quality more than quantity in his sound system, thank goodness.

It is a gorgeous summer evening here and delightfully warm. Really nice for a little drive. Glad we did it, but will be happy to get my little Ford Focus back!

Thanks Al! The kid has good taste, though I really always wanted a Mazda RX7. Or a Jag
