If you decide on Janome, check out sew4ever.com. This is the son of my repairman in a small area known as Rena Lara, MS. I just bought my Sailrite from him and have met him several times in person. He may even be able to get a Juki. If you email him with your questions, he will respond fairly quickly. I have had really good service from them both with repairs and purchases. He does ship everywhere.

You might want to check Sew Vac Direct, many here have recommended & bought from them. .......... I purchased a small Janome for my sister early this year from Overstock.com & had very good fast service from them.
I hope this is helpful.

I've read GLOWING reviews about Ken's. I bought my Juki from Sewing Machines Plus and would not recommend them. A lot of people here have had problems with them as well as I did Mostly communication issues and bad return policy as well as I did not get all of what was promised would come with my machine.

I cannot gush enough about Ken's Sewing Center. I have bought several machines from him. http://www.kenssewingcenter.com

In the past 5 years I have bought three machines at Sew Vac Direct and recommend them highly. Call them or order online, and you will get prompt attention. I love calling them because they will be able to tell you whats in stock that minute and you can deal. Very nice people. Also they are a real store or two in Texas, and have a real showroom and have been in business a long time.
Also, I have to recommend SewingInUSA as I had a wonderful purchase of a machine from them which went very smoothly - they advertise and deliver prompt service after the sale with both online chat and email. Very good vendor. They also have a large actual building where they have their stock, they aren't just a clearing house for orders as are some vendors.
I bought my serger from AMAZON. Actually sold by AMAZON, not another vendor through AMAZON. Good service, fast and it can always be returned to AMAZON.
I haven't bought a machine from Brubaker's online but I have done an accessory inquiry and they are terrific. So terrific that I will buy my next machine there when I get ready for that! Many here love Brubaker's - another place that is "brick and mortar."
