If you could choose any PR member's wardrobe as your own, whose wardrobe would you choose?

I would choose Anne Smith's. I love the trendy styles she wears, the quality fabric and the way she pairs accessories. I think her style shows that she has a high level of confidence. Her clothing while trendy, also has a timelessness about it. I love her color choices and the fact that she lets her personality shine through.

Suo ergo maledicto

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. - Steve Jobs

This must be the thread for me, because Ann Smith would be my first choice, and sfshaza second!

Re: If you could have any wardrobe...which PR members clothing would you choose (posted on 11/25/11 4:52 PM ET)
While I might admire an outfit someone has sewn, I think clothing and wardrobes are so personal, I can't imagine that anyone else's clothing or wardrobe would be right for me, whether they're on PR or not. One of the things I like best about sewing is that I can choose exactly what I want to suit my coloring, figure, fabric preferences, taste, and way of life. The odds that anyone else would choose exactly what I would choose are virtually nil.

I don't know---I've always liked the jackets you made. The sizes are close also.

Well said and my sentiments too.

However, among those whose sewing admire, you are right up there!

Having oodles of stash that looks nice, but some of the fabrics/colors/textures, etc., don't really suit me, and I can't give it up, I must be cognizant of just exactly what kind of look I'm going for--for me alone. So it's for this reason, I can't say which PR member's clothing I would pick. Otherwise, it would be all across my stash!

If I could take one wardrobe (and the body to go with it!) I'd take domestichaven's wardrobe. She is very talented, has great style, and sews up a storm!

"(and the body to go with it)"
That's my stumbling block on this one. If I could knock a few pounds off in the right places, and slice off three decades or so .......
I'm always seeing reviews for clothes I like, then thinking 'but not on me'.
