Why can't Simplicity have regular and cheap sales like Mc/V/B?

Or

Why can't there be a JoAnns nearer me (Queens; NYC) than Staten Island for which I must take (and I am not exagerrating here) a train, a boat, and a bus.

(I know, I know: I should have scored on that last Pattern Review Simplicity sale a few weeks ago. I PROCRASTINATED and for that I must suffer regret...

I'm sure if you ask nicely, a fellow PR member could pick up a few patterns for you. You could work out payment via gift certificates or money orders or paypal.

Ok, I'll help you out. Could somebody please do something for jada? She needs a pattern shopping buddy. Thank you !

Oh jadamo00 should have said something 2 days ago. Joann's just had Simplicity patterns for $0.99 3-day sale. I picked up 7 and saved $107! LOL Like I would have paid full price.

Next sale, PM me and I'll pick you up some or 20. However many I can fit in one of the small flat rate box (I'm in CA).

Try living in Australia. The cheapest I've seen patterns in store is at half price (never 0.99).

You could also try ebay. While not as cheap as the $1 sales, you can pick them up for four or five dollars.

Have you tried the PR classifieds? I have several patterns for sale here, and will have more in a couple weeks (after some serious cleaning-out!). Also, you could post in the wanted section of the classifieds here.

I think you can also purchase patterns from JoAnn's website. I would check when they have another sale.

Speaking of websites, I can only advise International members against buying directly from Simplicity online...if you're trying to lower your expenses.

Sure, they now offer international shipping...but you have to pay the middle man that enables this transaction! So you get shipping fees AND service fees.

Caveat emptor!
