I really love this Burda Style pattern from the past Feb issue:

I have some fabric in my stash that would work: a kelly green linen and a light pink linen. The only thing I worry is that with those colors, it might be to "aprony" looking. I had thought of using the light pink as the main color and the kelly green as the contrast. What do you think?

I took a really careful look at the photo. Truly, it appears the black fabric at least has a high percentage of stretch in it - almost a spandex effect. It also appears that the fabric has substantial body - not the lightweight stuff at all.
Please check the suggested fabric offerings to be sure the linen is suggested. I would hate for you to create a wadder due to poor fabric/pattern match.
As for the color combo, I think you might consider getting a 3rd color into those two - perhaps a black piping. Not just 2 different colors, but an extreme contrast helps the colors pop. If your linens are in the same tonal group, they just swim together. Quilters run into this problem all the time; they call it "muddy."
I really like the pattern, and hope the linen can work!

If I recall, I think it is a silk crepe that the dress is made from, but upon a second look it does look like it has some stretch to it. Does silk crepe have stretch? I know of one blogger who has made it and she used a stretch cotton. I bet some fabric with some stretch would work better in attaching that band with those curves.

I too think it needs a knit or something with stretch, especially as the contrast, so that it hugs the body at the bustline. If you're concerned about the color scheme, bring out your crayons! Fill in the line drawing and see how it looks. But for me, if the sample shows dark main pieces and light ones for the contrast, that's what I'd stick with--the green as the main and the pink as the contrast.
In looking at it more closely, the fabric has some kind of soft texture to it (that's why it looks like a knit) and depending on your body shape, might look too flat (what you call "aprony") Are there fabric recommendations with the pattern?

How can I get this pattern? I've looked and looked to find some way to get back issues of the magazine but can't find anything. Also, is the magazine available only through subscription? I'd love to get an issue to see how I like it.

Here's where you can get a subscription:
German Canadian News
I believe you can ask for a trial issue.
And it's sold here on Burdastyle.com (the US site).

@Tizmehr: you're welcome!
@blessedtosew: Ok, I've been stalking the RU site in hopes of the August preview being up.
I did find the 3 FOs from this pattern:

Using Google Translate, I see that the Black/White/Red was silk, the Cream/Yellow was stretch cotton woven and the Blue/Purple was denim and gabardine.
I would recommend a toile, if only to get a good idea of the fit and of how to manage those curved seams.
