Unfortunately also rather $$. I saw a Christmas animal ones advertised on the Fat Quarter store for a block of the month. I don't do block of the month so went looking for the pattern. $40. A little too high for me. But some other really adorable ones.

Well they also have free patterns -- amazing none grabbed me, Except the Valentine heart one!!! So cute and little cuts to use the too many buttons ! Nabbed that one

OHH there is also a Free Dresden plate one - no no NOOOOOOOOOOOO

I have used colouring book pictures as designs for baby quilts, and then yoou can make them bigger ir smaller by scanning, and printing.
And they are cheap!

Yeah but I can't put together the patterns the designers do. You can get all kinds of shapes etc online. It's the putting them together problem I have.

Oh, her stuff is lovely, isn't it? I saw her once at a quilt show. But by the time I got to her booth I had already run through my 'quilt fund'!

I love the patterns done by Amy Bradley. They are pricey but her fabrics and pattern really make up a quilt that will be cherished.

Just keep finding things you LOVE, and gathering shape sources....
