For the first time ever I am sewing jeans from non stretch fabric.
And I am having some problems ON RIGHT BACK LEG right under my butt cheeck. Thats right, only on the right.

It feels as thou there is too much fabric, I've pinned it and taken the seat seam and some leg seam in and still it's there. I let it all back out, and still, left back leg fits perfectly, and on the right I have this bulge.

I am starting to think it's the fabrics fault LOL. That the bias is different in someway or something.

Should I alter bouth legs the same way OR just the one I have issues with?

Is there anyway you can post a picture?
Is your right upper thigh/butt smaller than left? My right thigh is a good 3/8" bigger than left but with stretch denim it all evens out. Maybe the no stretch shows fit differences more. Do you have any non stretch jeans Ready to Wear from stores to see if any excess fabric there?
Good Luck! fitting jeans is tough!

Not to worry. Do you have any pictures? I am wondering if you hips are different if the one side is ok and the other is not. I am not a pants expert but there are some on here. I think a picture would help diagnose the issue if you can post one.

No need to apologize! "Bum" only has one "m," but so what. Your title is fine, and your English is excellent.

Did you take a picture from the front through to the back? Is this a front shot? Somehow it seems there is excess fabric under your back right crotch? You may need to raise back crotch curve higher on right side, that hook curve I mean. I am no pants fitting expert at all but I have to raise my front crotch curve due to excess fabric. I dont see any stress lines anywhere, so bulge shouldn't be due to jeans being too tight.
I know this is your best picture but maybe can you take a full back view or is the excess bulge or fabric so to speak more or less under the crotch...inner part of under the butt area?
Somehow your inner seams look a bit off center
What pattern are you using?

I found nothing wrong with your title. I see in picture that bulged out area but have no ideas. Will be following the answers as I am very curious.

I'm just guessing here. The back upper leg is cut on the bias, and I'm wondering if it got stretched out during the construction process. I remember (vaguely) seeing some instructions in a Louise Cutting pants pattern that said that inseam on both legs should be stitched in the same direction with (I think!) the pants front on top and the pants back on the bottom as they go through the machine, to prevent having one side stretched. That means that one side will have to be stitched with the bulk of the fabric inside the machine "harp", instead of hanging off the left side. I've never bothered with that, but now maybe I will.... Does anyone else remember these instructions more clearly than I do?
