I am searching the Internet for a pattern on applique' of a beach with palm trees, the ocean an so forth about Hawaii. So far, I saw one, (Maui) but I did not save the location and now can't find it, of course.
Can anyone suggest a site for me to visit. Honestly, I think I have been to well over 50 so far, and I have not seen what I want to do. I need a pattern to learn from. I just can't do things without a pattern.
I used to do counted cross stitch and I was very good at it and produced lovely work, so I want to do the same thing, using my sewing machine. I just can't find anything.
I plan to contact a couple of quilt shops in Hawaii in a few minutes. Other than that, I am out of ideas.
I want to do a landscape project soon. I have a good idea of what I want, but I can't find anything to give me a pattern to follow. I know I can't do it without a pattern. I just do not work that way. I can find hundreds of "Hawaii" patterns, but of things I have no desire to work with.
Can anyone help me?

Currently working on a boys quilt. Sized 40 x 40 inches. It has chickens, chicken eggs, cows, fish, sea life, afield with water, Dachshunds, mini sailboats, and many colorful other fabrics. The blocks are a 4 x 4 finished size, so many of them are needed.
This my 4th quilt in 7 months.

If we had children, the day at the beach would be a major hit.
I have seen turtles in applique as well as reverse applique and like them.
I like some of these graphic ones at the bottom of page 1 really well. Not a landscape, but they sure are cute. Love the turtle on page 3.
Cat, see the cute elephant on page 6.

I like this
This is close to what I want to do and what I am looking for. Yes, I did save it in Favorites and put it on my desktop too.

I've seen it before. It is going to be 2-3 years before we go back and that trip will be 10 days. A week is just not long enough--- as you already know. ------

OH MY, did you think I MADE the curtains???? No-no-no-no-no. I bought them from Penney's!! I will pat myself on the back and say that I got them 46% off and I really like them.
With nine cats in the house I never buy expensive curtains. As it is the little one has already tried to climb them, but she got yelled at and stopped. So far.
However, I will gladly accept the title of enabler...
