Craftsy is having a sale. Some classes are $9.99, or $14.99. Unfortunately for me, those I want are a little steep or more or I already own them, but there are some that others might like. If you're a beginner you especially might want to take some of the free classes like zippers, sewing machine 911, bag making basics and sewing machine feet. You also might like to try the free BOM quilt classes. I'm not a quilter, but taking the 2012 BOM really upped some of my sewing skills. I missed the latest Gilt City/Craftsy offer (sniff sniff). Hopes this helps someone. I am thinking about the Inset & Appliqué Circles by Machine quitl class at $14.99.

Today is the last day of their week long sale. The Pam Howard "Classic Tailored Shirt" is FABULOUS!!!! It's on sale today!!! When she did her introduction I thought....I'll sleep through this one...but when she began teaching...I was glued to my chair enthralled!!! WOW!!! Worth every penny...compounded.

Thank you for the heads up! I bought a class (on sale) I've been wanting to take for weeks.

I bought the two classes on my wish list: Fly Front Coat and Sew BEtter Sew Faster: Garment Industry Secrets. Both include a pattern. I almost missed this sale because I was deleting emails haphazardly.

I'm so glad the sale is over today. I bought 6 classes this week, ouch! I love the Craftsy classroom platform!

Superlative warning: I'm about halfway through Design and Sew and A-Line Skirt and it is the best sewing class, online or in-person, that I have ever taken. Only $9.99 (regular price $39.99) through midnight today. Deborah Moebes is an engaging instructor -- down-to-earth, funny and informative. Using your measurements, Deborah will guide you in drafting an basic A-line skirt pattern from scratch, along with a few pattern modifications so it can be personalized to accommodate different tastes. I'm still working on my muslin, but the fit is already super flattering.

I was inspired to take this class after seeing these incredible A-line skirts (some made by PR reviewers) in the Super Online Sewing Match.

I'm holding out for another $19.99 per class sale. None of the ones on my Wish List came down to that price so I'll just have to be patient. Besides, I've got quite a few in my que already that I haven't gotten to so that will give me time to get through those.

I'm too old to wait. The 24.99 is good enough for me.

Drat, I already had signed up for all the classes I wanted. Nothing on sale is on my wish list.
I wonder what an ancronym for Craftsy addictions would be?

Whatever it is called I have it!!! I think I have purchased every sewing related class they have as I have gotten sick of all the ads on TV...I just chill with a class segment...I have put it in the entertainment budget.
