I donated this top along with a number of other tops to the local quilt guild. The guild has a group (SOS = share our skills) that will finish the quilt or use fabric that has been donated to make quilts then usually give the finished quilts to various local charities or in the case of the top I pieced they put it in their SOS section of their quilt show along with other item to help raise money for the guild.

This quilt sold for $300. I am so excited.

Very pretty and well done...love the colors and shapes and fabric...my eyes like looking at it.

You have very good reason to be proud...in several ways...proud of making the quilt top, proud of donating it...and proud it sold to make money (a lot of $) for a good cause.

Surely it will become a heirloom in the purchaser's family.
