The class wa 6 hours long and confusing for a while. There were 9 of us. Only 2 of us did the beach. 5 women did the fall leaves, and 2 did the summer mountain in purples. I think only 1 person finished the class. I am 50% done. I ended up buying 3 more fq's of batiks. I will take pictures tomorrow.
I really enjoyed the class. I know one thing for sure. Before I do anything else, I have to get out my colored pencils and color the chart. I just do not see logs or tide pool or smaller rocks on the beach.

Currently working on a boys quilt. Sized 40 x 40 inches. It has chickens, chicken eggs, cows, fish, sea life, afield with water, Dachshunds, mini sailboats, and many colorful other fabrics. The blocks are a 4 x 4 finished size, so many of them are needed.
This my 4th quilt in 7 months.

Oh goody! Sounds like a fun class. I bet the person who finished had done something like it in the past. Pictures, yes please! OOooh and color pencils to play with too? Fun!

Glad you enjoyed it! 6 hours is a long time with new techniques!! Did the other woman choose the same type of colors you did or are her very different?

Hers was different in colors. I do not think she has the color theory I have. Hers is not going to end up as pretty as mine will. I thought hers was kind of plain.

Are you meeting again or was this a one day class??? If you mentioned that, I've forgotten...
If it was a one day thing, it would be nice if you could all get together again to see finished projects!
